Functional Test Analyst – ODIS Creator

We are seeking a Functional Test Analyst to join a large-scale automotive project within the ODIS Creator environment. The role focuses on requirements-based test analysis, test case creation, test data preparation, execution of system and acceptance tests, and defect management within a compliance-sensitive OEM context.

• Perform test analysis of requirements, specifications, change requests, and storyboards related to ODIS Creator.
• Create test cases based on functional documentation for regular and special releases.
• Identify, create, and maintain test data in the system under test.
• Execute system tests and acceptance tests.
• Document defects and actively participate in defect discussions and clarification with the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• German is MUST
• Solid knowledge of ISTQB testing concepts, including test case design and execution.
• Experience with diagnostic or authoring tools (e.g., ODIS Creator or similar systems).
• Understanding of automotive diagnostic processes and guided fault finding.
• Basic understanding of data structures (e.g., XML or similar).
• Experience working with QA and release approval processes.
• Ability to work precisely according to defined standards and guidelines.
• High awareness of compliance, confidentiality, and handling of sensitive OEM data.
