We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Automotive Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic and mechatronic vehicle systems. Your primary focus will be on the creation of test specifications, analysis of tests, and clear communication of results to drive product excellence.
1. Test Specification Development & Management:
Create, review, and revise detailed test specifications based on system requirements.
Utilize specification methods such as Requirement-Based Testing and Fault Injection Testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Develop test cases to validate vehicle network communications and system interactions.
2. Test & Results Analysis:
Analyze test results meticulously to identify, document, and classify defects.
Utilize specialized test analysis tools to investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Create detailed test reports that clearly summarize findings, including pass/fail status and defect logs.
3. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
Communicate test progress, results, and critical issues effectively to internal teams (e.g., development, project management).
Liaise with external stakeholders as needed to clarify requirements or report validation outcomes.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure a clear understanding of defects and support the problem-resolution process.

Proven experience in automotive electronics or mechatronics testing.
Experience with required test analysis tools, specifically Vector - CANoe or Merida.
Familiarity with test management tools, preferably CodeBeamer Or Testguide.
Strong knowledge of vehicle networks and communication interfaces, including CAN and Ethernet.
Hands-on experience with test specification methods (e.g., Requirement-Based Testing, Fault Injection Test).
Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed test specifications.
Solid skills in analyzing test results and reporting defects.
