We are seeking an experienced AUTOSAR Diagnostics Engineer to represent our client's interests in the AUTOSAR Diagnostics Working Group and drive the evolution of OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) standards. In this role, you will collaborate on technical discussions, propose diagnostic improvements, and ensure the client's requirements are integrated into AUTOSAR’s DCM (Diagnostic Communication Manager) and DEM (Diagnostic Event Manager) modules.

• Representation of the client's interests in the AUTOSAR Diagnostics Working Group
• Participation in technical discussions on the further development of the OBD standard, in particular with regard to environmental conditions for DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)
• Creation of change requests (CRs) and development and introduction of proposed solutions in the AUTOSAR context (DCM and DEM modules)
• Participation in the standardization of diagnostic functions at AUTOSAR level
• Support in the integration of specific BMW requirements, in particular the assignment of P-codes (SAE Hex) to DTCs including return of the corresponding environmental conditions
• Use and, if necessary, analysis of tools such as Zedis and EDIABS for the evaluation of error data
• No document owner role, focus is on technical co-design and coordination

• Excellent/Fluent command in written and spoken English language (working language in the Working Group)
• Experience 3 - 6 years is highly preferred
• Good knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, ideally with a focus on DCM (Diagnostic Communication Manager) and DEM (Diagnostic Event Manager)
• Experience in the field of on-board diagnostics (OBD), especially with regard to emission-related control units
• Understanding of fault memory entries (DTCs) and their attributes including environmental conditions (e.g. mileage, temperature, time stamp)
• Strong communication skills and willingness to actively participate in committees
