Overview

Working as part of a team executing effective and professional quality engineering services aligned with Expleo methodologies. Works under the supervision of a senior team member. Learning the basics of Quality Engineering. Delivers in own area and contributes to overall on-time and on-budget project goal.

Responsibilities

  • Support for Tool Operations (ALM Octane, LoadRunner Enterprise, ALM):

    • Management of processes related to tool operations

    • Management of infrastructure

    • Maintenance of tools on servers

    • Management of load balancer configuration

    • Analysis, management, and resolution of reported vulnerabilities

    • Execution of server-related activities
      → ALM Octane: Linux Red Hat, Oracle Database
      → LRE: Windows Server, Oracle Database

    • Communication with customer departments (German/English)

    • Communication with vendor support (English)

    • Handling user support cases for the tools

    • Analysis of updates/patches/hotfixes

    • Determining necessary infrastructure changes

    • Planning, execution, and documentation of updates/patches/hotfixes

    • Submitting change requests

Qualifications

  • Excellent/Fluent in written & spoken English is a MUST.
  • Computer Science & ITI fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • 1 - 3 year of experience as Software tester.
  • Strong knowledge & skills in Linux.
  • Experience in test automation is preferred.
  • ISTQB Foundation level is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Windows servers.
  • Experience working with Linux.

  • Experience working with Oracle databases.

  • Understanding of load and performance concepts.

  • Proactive attitude (responsibilities are often unclear, so proactive action is required).

  • Assertiveness (should be visible to the customer, actively participating in discussions, etc.).

  • Ability to assert oneself with challenging customer contacts.
